The Kitazaki district of the Itoshima Peninsula, facing Hakata Bay and the Genkai Sea, is a treasure trove of rich nature and ingredients!
Did you know that agriculture and fishing are thriving in this area, even though it is located near the city of Fukuoka?
In the midst of all this, with the strong desire to preserve the local way of life without letting the fields go to waste, we are working on agriculture that keeps the soil healthy by making compost in a circular way without using pesticides or chemical fertilizers, together with the members of the "Kitazaki Future Creation Association".
Enjoy delicious vegetables grown in the fields!
This time, we'll be picking plums in early summer, the season when the fruit is plentiful, and learning how to make plum syrup!

*Applications will be closed as soon as the capacity is reached. Please apply early.
*Children under elementary school age may accompany you, but activities and meals will not be provided.
Cost to Participate
1,000 yen (tax included) per person (adult/child)
(Includes experience fee, 2kg of plums, vegetable picking, and light meal)
*If you purchase separately, it will be 500 yen per kg of plums. Additional purchases are possible.
The following items are not included in the cost, so please bring them with you:
Please bring your own plum wine bottle (minimum 4L) and rock sugar. As a guideline, 2kg of rock sugar is required for a 4L plum wine bottle.

What to bring
Please bring your own plum wine bottle (minimum 4L) and rock sugar. As a guideline, 2kg of rock sugar is needed for a 4L plum wine bottle.

◆You may get sweaty during the day, so please bring your own drinks and a towel to wipe away sweat. Please take care of your health.
◆ Please come dressed in comfortable clothing that is easy to move in and that you don't mind getting dirty.
What is included in the tour?

*Please pay your own transportation costs to the meeting and dismissal locations.
*Parking is free.
Notes
◆This tour will proceed rain or shine.
・The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine, but may be cancelled if a warning is issued or there is heavy rain or thunderstorm. Thank you for your understanding.
・Please take measures to protect yourself from the cold and rain according to the climate.
◆Regarding cancellation of the event: In the event of storms such as typhoons, thunderstorms, or natural disasters such as earthquakes, the event will be cancelled. A decision on whether the event will go ahead will be made at 10am two days before the event.
