A trip where you can experience the SDGs !
Famnic tour of the Kitazaki Sea and fields of the Itoshima Peninsula !
One action for the global environment.
Food circulation!
Experience growing vegetables using compost !
Are you familiar with the term "compost" that we've been hearing about so often lately?
Composting is actually one of the important wisdoms that has been passed down in Japan since ancient times. It is a compost made by fermenting and decomposing food waste and fallen leaves from households. Growing vegetables using this compost leads to a food cycle that is kind to the global environment. This time, parents and children will experience growing vegetables in plastic bottle planters using compost at home with the Kitazaki Mirai Tsukure Kai, which practices circular farming (Zen farming) in Kitazaki.
You will then take a leisurely stroll around the charms of Kitazaki with a local guide, and have a cooking experience using harvested vegetables.
Let's all enjoy these delicious vegetables!
What is Kitazaki Rural Walk?
Take a leisurely stroll through rural areas and seaside areas accompanied by a local guide and experience the seasons, local history, customs, and lifestyles of the area through your five senses.
